As September brings us closer to October, my heart is more tender than ever. We celebrate my son's birthday on October 8, a day of celebration as we praise God for his life and a day of mourning as we recognize what has been lost.During this tender season I am always reminded of the pain and the longing. Nearly 9 years later, and it still can take my breath away. But as always, amidst the pain I am reminded of the God who brings hope, the God who sustains, the God who brings light to the darkest places. May we both find hope in Him as we wait for Him to make all things new.I pray this reminder blesses your heart this month.
