Our Favorite Candles for Honoring A Baby's Life | Wave of Light October 15

Lighting a candle is a simple and beautiful way to honor your baby. On special days, milestones days, difficult days or any day in between, the act of lighting a candle is a moment to reflect, to grieve, to remember and to mother our baby(s) in heaven.

On October 15, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we commemorate this day with a Wave of Light. The Wave of Light is a worldwide ceremony of lighting a candle in memory of your baby (or your loved one’s) from 7-8pm in your local time zone – in essence, a candle will be lit for 24 hours honoring these babies in Heaven.

We rounded up a few of our favorite custom candles for this upcoming special day and have linked them all below to be used for the Wave of Light or any day that is special and meaningful to you. The candles are all customizable — you can add your baby’s name, your last name, your last initial (example: Baby P), a nickname (example: Baby Bean) or a word that represents your baby’s life to you, like peace, joy, faith or hope or even just ‘baby.’ We love that a few of the candles include a birth month flower, so special and a beautiful way to honor your due date or birthday.

We love these candles and know you will too!

P.S. If you love a grieving mom, one of these candles would make a beautiful gift!
